Homing Process
We have many dogs all looking to be adopted. However, we take our homing process very seriously, therefore it is not a case of simply saying 'I want that one!'

It is a long journey to get a neglected street or shelter dog ready for its forever home, with vet treatment, nutrition, help with behaviour as well as routine health checks and vaccinations.* Once they are ready and have their health passport in order we will list them for rehoming.

If you feel you can give one of our dogs the home it deserves, please read through all the information on this weForgotten_Dogs_enquiries@FDOTAdmin.onmicrosoft.comsite, look at the dogs available and fill in an application form below (it will download if you click on the tab) and email it to Forgotten_Dogs_enquiries@FDOTAdmin.onmicrosoft.com

One of our team will get in touch with you, provide you with more information and discuss if you would be suitable for one of our dogs.
All dogs have basic needs, and ex-street dogs have extra requirements, so we do need to know that your situation is right for the dog. For more advice on homing an ex-street dog please click here.
All potential adopters will get a home visit. If this goes well and you want to go ahead we ask that you pay a deposit. The final preparations of the paperwork for your dog are made.
You will need to pay for the transport to the UK, this cost will be discussed with you, it may seem like a lot, but does not include the cost of rehabilitating the dog.
You will get continued support once your dog is with you.
From time to time we also look for foster homes for dogs in the UK, if this is something you may be interested in please read the section under 'How you can Help' and also complete the form linked below.
