Our Shelters
Adana
It was the plight of the dogs in a Kozan shelter that first prompted us to try and do all we could to help. Selen Usta was already trying to help the dogs in the shelters, taking in food and paying for some of the treatments. Together we agreed to take 6 dogs out of the shelter and found a place to care for them.
There are now about 26 dogs. Selen works tirelessly, mostly on her own, with the occasional help of some friends, to care for these dogs, and continue to assist as much as she can with other dogs in the area.

Bengu Berkman was feeding stray dogs, the street dogs in this area were particularly badly treated and she asked for our help.
We combined our efforts and set up a shelter to help those street dogs who were the most vulnerable or injured.
We found Volkan Akyildiz who now runs the shelter with the help of Bengu. There are over 40 dogs, along with the resident donkey (Velvet) and goat (O'Grady)
